| Light Painting Photography - Battle of Roslin Monument |
Monday 4th November 2013 - First attempt at light painting photography tonight. Idea is to get somewhere really dark. You set camera on tripod and leave shutter at open for a good few minutes. Then with a handlamp you paint light onto the subject (this time the monument).
For this first attempt I wandered into woods tonight and stood in pitch darkness by Battle of Roslin Monument. Tried first 3 minutes. Next 5 minutes. Then third and last go I left shutter open for 8 minutes.
Pleased with first go. Can you suggest any other local places I can light paint? Would like a war memorial somewhere dark. |
