Joe Gilhooley LRPS   Montagu Bridge Dalkeith Country Park   Saturday 10th September 2022. Montagu Bridge Dalkeith Country Park by Robert Adams, was commissioned by Henry, 3rd Duke of Buccleuch in 1792. The River North Esk travels under the bridge to a weir. The river was high and very fast flowing. This prevented me wading the river to photograph the weir at the bridge. The river slows to the top side of the weir and is good there for reflections. I stayed top side of the weir and photographed the bridge reflections. The weather forecast was, little wind with blue sky breakng out. That's what happened as I was in position.
