Thursday 13th June 2024. I took a boat trip from Anstruther, Fife, to The Isle of May in the Firth of Forth with friends.
Plan was to photograph Puffins. You have to book it weeks in advance as it a very popular trip. This was my third trip to the Isle. Following 2022 and 2023.
I used my Canon 1dx MkII Camera with the Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L IS II USM Lens.
I have added 69 images to this page. I concentrated totally on photographing Puffins. At times they were only 2 to 3 metres from me. If you moved slowly and took patience, you got very near. |
