Monday 20th June 2022. I took a boat trip from Anstruther, Fife, to The Isle of May in the Firth of Forth with two friends.
Plan was to photograph Puffins and other seabirds. You have to book it weeks in advance as it a very popular trip.
My main focus was on photographing The Puffins. I did take a few photograhs of other Sea Birds on cliffs and nesting.
I used my Canon 1dx MkII Camera with the Canon EF 400mm f2.8L IS III USM Lens attached with a Canon 1.4 Mk III extender (Convertor) on camera. That took the focal length to 560mm. Monopod to keep lens and camera steady.
